45,000 mile service cost

at least some of us 2020 owners have approached the 45,000 service. Wondering what costs they are paying for it. Anyone care to share?

Do not listen to the dealer when they tell you what service is needed at 45K miles. Look in your warranty and service guide to determine what individual things need to be replaced. Do not ask the dealer to do any inspections because they will charge for that if you ask, and almost all dealers do the inspections for free when you have any other service performed (they are looking to drum up more business).

Then once you know what needs to be replaced, ask the dealer for the price of each individual item (not including inspections). Most likely. just an oil change, and maybe engine air filter, and cabin air filter.

You can change the engine air filter, and the cabin air filter yourself buy purchasing the filters at the parts department (or online) and doing it yourself. Search YouTube for videos on how to do those things for the Palisade (there are also instructions in the Owners Manual). The dealer labor fees for these things is very expensive, so try to do those yourself.
