Nope. So that's not it. Sorry. So what was it? Did you try driving another Pali like yours?
I did drive another Palisade. I did not hear the noise. Frustrating. A brand new vehicle and already issues. Why Hyundai?! Why?!

Every time I hit a bump I hear a squeaky rattle from the area of the ceiling controls and sunroof. I think the issue is the seal around the sunroof because when I open and close the sunroof the squeak tends to go away. It may return but not at the same intensity. Anyone else experiencing this? Side note: this seems to only happen when the car has sat outside. As an example: I back out of my garage and drive to work- not a peep. I leave for work and the squeak is there. I am guessing the changing temperature from sitting outside is causing the seal to expand and contract, which results in the squeak. I took a video and plan on showing it to the dealership. We shall see how responsive they are.
my palisade has the same issue. Is there any improvement?

I just got rid of the Palisade. It was such a disappointment. Horrendous craftsmanship. Junk. I will never buy Hyundai again. Plus side - I ended up with a 2022 Telluride. It's amazing. It is the polar opposite of the trash Hyundai sold me.

You do realize they're the same thing, right?;) You just got a bad Pali, unfortunately. But glad the Telluride is better. I honestly prefer a vehicle made in Korea than in the US, but maybe there's no advantage anymore. Quality is decreasing worldwide, unfortunately. And that reminds me I need to insert a couple of pieces of Tesa tape on the HUD trim. A rattle was driving me crazy on our last trip (on rough asphalt), now that I remember. But other than that, it's rattle free. I might replace the crappy stock tires sooner rather than later, to hopefully decrease the intrusive road noise from the rough asphalt prevalent here.

You do realize they are sisters, not identical twins? ;) Fortunately, I ended up with the hot sister.

I have found a fix for that. The noise is coming from the light unit hitting the roof beam. By simply adding some adhesive foam the noise is all gone. Remove the cover, remove two screws, then the entire unit. If you are not sure how to remove the ligjt, ask the dealer for help. It only take 5 minutes to fix

I also have a squeaky rattle starting in the dashboard just in front of the driver's seat.
My SUV started making noise in the dashboard too, and I traced it to the HUD trim. It comes and goes, but it was driving me nuts on my last trip. Just remembered I need to tackle that job when I read your comment. So that might be your issue too. Try pressing on the HUD surround trim piece with your fingers when you hear the noise. I'll insert a small piece of Tesa tape to quiet it. Will try that first before trying to remove anything, since I don't know how it's held. If I can't quiet it completely, would research how to remove that piece, so I can quiet it properly with the same Tesa tape.

And I'd say the Pali and Tellu are definitely twins; not identical ones, but twins nonetheless (they're probably at least 90% identical). And as a side comment, most people associate twins with identical ones. I have 2 twin siblings, and besides being male and female, they're as different as 2 people can be; nobody would even guess they're related at all. They actually look like they came from different countries. Ha ha.

Where do you put the adhesive foam at?
