A sound that disappears after the engine warms up is unlikely to be considered a problem by a dealer. GDI engines in particular are noisy when cold started. Also, when the tech starts the car and drives it from the parking lot into the garage area, it is already starting to get warmed up by the time he looks at it.Has anyone experienced a whistle sound coming from the engine area during a cold start under 25 degrees
It only does this when its cold outside. Dealer is a joke for finding this
They had my car for three days still couldn't hear the sound.

If you are willing to spend some money on this, I would find a high-end custom auto stereo shop and ask them what it would cost to add some sound deadening material around the mirrors and/or door. They usually have a lot of experience taking apart door panels and adding sound deadening material. There are also some wind deflectors that can be added, as mentioned in some other posts.I have a 2021 and it still has a whistling noise coming from the area of the side view mirrors. Dealer did part of an update but that didn't help. I noticed last week that when I really get tired of the noise that if I just barely lift or start to open the sunroof the whistling stops. But then I have the noise from the sun roof to deal with. Love the car so far but hate the whistling. Starts making the noise at about 75 mph and worse when there is a cross wind on the freeway. Dealer said they and Hyundai have given up trying to fix this know problem.
