I seen that, but some people had trouble connecting. And I want to know if my brake controller is connected with powerI bought this:
Just plug and play through your smart phone. No drilling, no controller to mount. Easy peasy!I
I haven't had it installed yet so I can't report on how well it works. The reviews seem pretty solid.
Curt CLASS 3 TRAILER HITCH WITH 2" RECEIVER #13427What is the model number for the Curt hitch? 13195?
Thanks,
If you want to tow to the Palisades maximum 5000lb limit you will need a trailer with brakes. And trailers with electric brakes need a seven pin harness. Had one installed on mine. No big deal but very necessary.Curt CLASS 3 TRAILER HITCH WITH 2" RECEIVER #13427
Curt wiring harness #56420 it connects directly to the factory harness. It's only 4 pin but the Pali isn't designed to go to 7 pin. But if you want a factory install you need this

Yes, I know. Its wired for 7pin, not factory setupIf you want to tow to the Palisades maximum 5000lb limit you will need a trailer with brakes. And trailers with electric brakes need a seven pin harness. Had one installed on mine. No big deal but very necessary.
The tekonsha is the break controller which controls the other 2 pins on the 7 pin connector. You need to do them all togetheri just got the curt and the tekonsha from etrailers, I'll worry about the 7 pi controller later
Not sure why you would spend double the price for the exact same thing that the manufacture would sell you. My sante fe, just got a recall on that harness from curt. It said it right in the recall. kinda messed up.tekonsha makes numerous items, one is the replacement for the hyundai harness, hence, Ill worry about the 7 pin conversion later
