Hi all, new owner

Just picked up a new 2020 Palisade SEL AWD w/Premium Package. MSRP was 34.5ish here in PA, ended up at 40.5 out the door.
So far we're liking it. Our only complaints are really just minor annoyances with programming or lack of adjustment. When using the cruise control on the highway at 70 mph, the vehicle starts slowing down 10 car lengths away. Way before I'd even think about moving to the passing Lane. Yes, it's set to the min distance. Or the vehicle beeping and flashing for every little function. Remote start and open the latch, it looks like a freakin party. Then you have to unlock the car despite already opening the hatch. Hope no one has an epileptic seizure.
Really hoping someone cracks the BCM soon or come up with a way to adjust some of these settings. There's so many personal preference options that could of been easily added or adjusted with a quick program, that would of really set it apart.
Overall still happy with it.

Welcome aboard. Hopefully the beeps won’t crush your excitement lol. The distancing on the radar cruise is a minor annoyance, but I’ll say that the one on my Palisade is slightly better than the one I had on my Camry. The Toyota seemed to brake even earlier.

We traded a 2015 jeep Cherokee sport limited, which we really liked but needed more hauling capacity. Ended up getting about half of what we paid for it 5 years ago. Not terrible but it still amazes me how fast vehicles devalue.
Don't get me wrong, the Palisade is an excellent vehicle and we're very happy with it. It's definitely a step up from the jeep. Like you said, just minor annoyances but if hyundai addressed some of these it would put it way above the competition.
