Took delivery of my Palisade Limited in June. Bought it primarily to tow my 4000 lb travel trailer. Just exceeded 1200 miles, so will be trying my first towing trip next month.

I previously had a 2010 Ford Explorer with 4.0 liter V6. I was a dedicated Ford guy, but in my opinion, the new Explorer just doesn't have the power to do what I need.

Nice. Glad it’s working for your tow needs. I’ve not had any need to get a hitch installed yet.

You can get a higher powered explorer, But for much more money
and the interior still looks like it was designed in 1990

Yeah, and it looks like they bolted an iPad to the dashboard. No class. Aside from the power train specs, the Palisade dashboard sold me. The abundant rear seating legroom didn't hurt either.
