if I'm on phone in the house and my wife starts the Palisade in the garage, the phone call transfers to the Palisade. This does not happen with my other vehicles until I get in the vehicle. I would appreciate any suggestions on how to prevent this. I cannot seem to find a reference in the manuals. Thanks again.

Same strange thing happens here.I wonder if the power garage door opener is a culprit?

Bluetooth has a longer range than you sometimes think.

Is she the primary driver? If so, you should go into Bluetooth settings and make sure her phone is set to be the primary connection. That way, when the vehicle turns on, it’ll try to find her phone first, which it will if she’s the one in the car.

What does that have to do with Bluetooth?

The large infotainment with nav can be paired with 2 phones at the same time.

It can be paired to two devices at once... but that’s only for audio. Only one phone is connected at a time for actual phone duties. So, again, if you change the auto connection priority so that the wife’s phone is #1, then it will try to connect to that first, and that will be the connected phone for actual phone use, and the guy’s phone call will not transfer to the Palisade.

Turn off Bluetooth on your phone. Do you really need it in your house?

I thank everyone for the suggestions and possible solutions. Here is what I did. I took bruesjoh04's suggestion and changed the connection priority from my phone to my wife's phone. That solved the problem of intercepting my phone call while I'm in the house and she is in the car. However, when I get in the vehicle and she is in the house on the phone I get her call in the Palisade because now she has connection priority. So.... I'm left with the assumption that the Palisade has a very sensitive BT antenna that my other vehicles do not because in those vehicles, the BT does not duplicate this problem. Am I on to something? Again, thanks to all who contributed.

Not to be a smart ass, but why have it draining your battery when you're not in the car?

Do you actually take the time to turn Bluetooth off on your phones when you get home? I just leave it on at all times. I do have a Bluetooth speaker in the house, but I’d still leave it on either way. It’d be a hassle to do that every time I get home.

There are other devices in the home that operate using BT.
Yes, I have some as well, but the way my phone is, it will allow me to choose just one bluetooth accessory to connect to. I guess I should've said the rather than turning it off.

Yes, I do but I'm really into cell phones and have shortcuts that I just toggle. My Bluetooth speakers are connected with my Amazon echoes. That's why I don't think much about the Bluetooth. Rarely I use Bluetooth inside to talk on the phone mainly because I still have a land line, lol.
