For some reason when I press the speak button on the steering wheel and say the command "Go Home" Siri pops up on the main screen, and says Siri is not connected or says I do not have a tag for "Go Home". I was successful one time only with this command, since then it keeps directing me to Siri, even though I do not have my iPhone connected to the USA cord in the center console. I prefer to use the Palisade's navigation and cannot figure out how to give a command without Siri popping up. What am I doing wrong?

Did you set a home address in setup of navigation?
You can try a reset
Just left and below the tuning know there is a small hole, use a paper clip and press lightly for n10 sec.

Are you holding down the button? If I remember correctly, a short press brings up the car's voice recognition, while a long press brings up the phone's voice recognition (Siri or Google depending on your phone). Try the short press and release. Then speak.

Yes. I set a home address in the Navigation system. I can tap the button “Home” and it works. I just can’t give the verbal command “Go Home”. Like I said it worked once and then never again.

ok. Will give that a try. I believe I am long pressing. Thank you.

Thank you. Never knew there was a button for navigation there. Learn something new everyday.

That button is to query Blue Link directly. If you didn’t have a subscription, you’d need to use the one on the steering wheel.

@Craig44485, did you try the short press, as I suggested?

You need to just quickly press the voice recognition for the car and hold it down a second or so for your phone . You’re holding it and your phone takes over
