Car alarm

Today the weather was cool enough to leave my dog in his crate in the back of the car while I ran into grocery store to get a coffee. I opened the sun roof and locked the door. I walk away and the alarm goes off. It’s detecting my dog in the car. Great feature if it were a child. Can I turn this off for my dog?

I think someone advised you can change this in your settings, but I’ve never checked.

Go to your convenience settings in your gauge cluster and turn off the rear occupant alert.
