Got my hitch installed today. It’s a Draw-tite and it fits perfectly? I use a company that just does hitches and they have been in business over 30 years. Somewhere I saw a post that didn’t recommend Draw-tite because they the to cut his bumper. I am guessing they installed the wrong hitch model! This installation is perfect.

Did you compare to other hitch brands? Curious why this brand? I've been debating adding a hitch but don't see a need to tow regularly so I've been putting it off.

I don’t tow very often either but wanted to be set up if I needed to. The only hitches that I would use is Curt or Draw-tite because they are hidden. My local dealer who I trust and have used before is a Draw-title dealer so that’s what I went with.

Looks better than my dealer installed POS. Mine looks like a U-haul add on special.

Our local Hyundai dealer uses Uhaul to install the hitches. They charge almost double what you can get it done for.

Dealer wanted $900 for hitch and install, and $400 for the wiring.


got a Curt with the Wiring for $300 shipped and am doing it myself this after noon.

I don’t have one as I have nothing to tow, but if I did yours looks fairly slick. I’ve seen some pretty ugly ones while I’ve been out and about.
