2020 palisade rear wing, installed professionally.

pretty cool, how is it secured?

Comes with alot of 3M tape pre installed and you just peel it off, line it up correctly, heat it, then tape it down for a few hours. The place where I took it to be installed also added a bonding agent to keep it stuck together for a long time.

Is there a functional purpose for it or is it just for appearances?

Not sure it’s minor. It makes a major difference in the look. Not sure it’s an improvement. Maybe it looks better in person, seems a little over the top! No pun intended!

True it does make a major change, but after seeing some of the black out jobs with mudder tires and lift kits, well, this doesn't diminish the elegant appearance quite as much

It'll keep snow off most of the rear window.
Now if we can get a really good bug and stone deflector for the hood.
You know like the ones we used to find and really helped protect the windshield,
rather than ones that just protect the very front from chips.

the bottom line is that this mod, or any mod is what the owner wants or likes and that is all that matters.


personally I like it, I would never do it simply because of the mounting system, I have had 3m spoilers fly off at highway speeds, unless it is bolted to the car I would never install.

Yea, some of the stuff I’ve seen people do is over the top for me. Do what you like to your stuff I say though.
