Just over 4000 miles and in front of both back doors marks in paint. Anyone else have this? Going to show dealer see what they say about it.20210325_143958.webp

Not sure what the dealer can offer, or what you would expect them to do about damage to the paint from road debris. Did you buy a paint protection warranty? If so, that might be the only way I would expect a dealer to do anything about that. That said, I do have a 3"x5" piece of clear vinyl material that was on the car when I bought it, right about where the bottom of your squared areas are.

I did too. Thought that was standard actually.
Perhaps OP should wander around the dealer lot. If that protection is on all the Palisades, make the case yours was missed and see if they help.

My 2020 Palisade Limited came with factory installed clear plastic protectors where you show the road rash. I have zero blemishes with the plastic protectors. The design of the rear doors that flair out are exposed to road debris kicking up from your front tires and hitting where my clear plastic protectors are affixed.

Just over 9000 km, and so far no such issue with my 2021 Palisade (black).

I have 4000 miles no such issues, I did install mud flaps front and rear. I believe they do help keeping road debris of doors and rear quarters

I didnt run anything over but paved roads. Never had a vehicle that did this. I believe they must just use a cheap clear coat or poor design. Goes next week for dealer to look at.

Do yourself a favor and put some splash guards on it. I don’t have any marks like that on mine.

Your Palisade should have a paint protection film in that area, as others have stated. Not sure why you don't have this film in place. I have just over 9k miles, film in place, and absolutely no rock chips.
