We are the happy owners of our "second" Palisades and happy to be back in the driver's seat. We live in the Pacific Northwest where it is does rain a bit. What I live best about are all the safety features, the creature comforts, and the fact that it fits both me (5'2") and my husband (6'4")!

I do have some suggestions for Hyundai...

• I'd like the removable jump seat between the 2nd row captain chairs like our Highlander has (so not only do you have seating for 8) so that when you fold the seats down, there isn't a huge gap between the seats where stuff falls. I hear they offer it in Korea.
• I'd like the push buttons to be re-ordered so that DRIVE is at the top and REVERSE is at the bottom. To me, that feels more natural the the top is ahead and the bottom is behind.
• I'd like movable arm rests for the front captain chairs. Maybe itdoens matter if the seat is far enough back and your arms are long enough to use the center console, but for short people with the seat way forward, my elbow can't rest on the console.
• I'd like a place for sunglasses up near the "mommy-mirror", or maybe a replaceable cover so you have your choice.
• I'd like the rear cargo mat to be rubber, not carpeting which is much harder to clean. I hear they offer it in Canada.

Second? YUP! We bought our first in Sept 2021 and when we discovered it only had 4-pin wiring and our best local hitch place said they really wouldn't touch it until an aftermarket kit came out, we spent months getting the dealer to take it back. We waited for the 2022 (which still doesn't;t have 7-pin but at least there's a great option). While almost all dealers from just below the Canadian border in Washington to the Portland, Or area are charging $4-6k above MSRP (because they can, and none are in the OCstco program), we found one selling for MSRP. It pays to call around.

PS, I took the advice from others here and called Crystal at Burlington VT Hyundai for the OEM 10 year optional wrap. They charge $300 above cost - no tax, no deductible- and this service contract included several items not in the original 5 year wrap. It was $1598 total and while we hopefully/probably won't even need that, it felt good for $1600 to have 10 years full wrap coverage. (Our dealer had offered a non-Hyundai one with $100 deduct if not used at their shop, with exceptions and up to only 100k miles for $2700)

Congratulations on your second Palisade! Moving this discussion to the Palisade section where it should get more eyes...
