we have a 2021 Palisade and I am hoping to surprise my wife with a camping trailer for christmas. Completely flummoxed by how to get the 7 pin harness for the electronic brakes squared away. There just don't seem to be any obvious solutions. Any genius ideas out there? Thanks!

Plenty of threads on that subject; just search for them. But for your application, you need the Kia 7-pin OEM cable (Hyundai doesn't make it, or at least not when I was installing my Curt hitch), and then an electric brake controller. Fortunately, our 2021s and newer have the connector already under your dash for that. Your options are a wired controller, requiring drilling somewhere for the knob, or adding a Bluetooth one (which would be my personal choice), both sold by sites like ETrailer. Hope this helps.

Thanks I did find some good info from another thread that corresponds to what you detailed there. I think I know the way forward now. Cheers.

Welcome aboard! Moving this discussion into our Palisade suspension section...

Would any owner have an idea how I could pull or tow for a short distance, even though I do not have any type of tow package
Ideas what I should connect to under the rear end of the Palisade.Just took a quick look, and found nothing..
