We do not like the interior “wood” trim in our beige 2022 Palisade Calligraphy. Anyone know of any aftermarket replacement trim? I am in the Seattle area (Whidbey Island)

Yeah, the zebra stripes look super fake. And the aluminum colored trim also looks completely out of place IMO. We wanted the light leather, but decided to get black, which has a much more cohesive look. By the way, the current 'beige' combo of blue, beige, and black was never in consideration. We were debating geting the now discontinued beige with dark brown (no black at all anywhere), which was less bad. Ha ha. The best choice would have been all black inside, the way it is now, but with beige seats and door inserts only, for a more European look. But without that option, black was the only logical choice for me.

Going back to your question, I'd honestly pass on that, since you'd have to half-dismantle your interior to change it, and it'd cost an arm and a leg. Plus a very likely outcome of that would be a noisy interior after removing all of the trim, which hardly ever goes back as tight as the first time. It's not that bad to consider such a drastic fix IMO, but up to you, of course. Good luck.

To each their own…we love the faux bamboo trim w/ beige and bluish trim. Haven’t had one person that has looked at our 2022 Cali not like it. Oh well.

Some of those are real wood...I am seriously considering the install. I will be doing it myself.
It just takes minimal patience..

Awesome. My car hasn't arrived yet and I'm already about ready to order one of the kits from your link. The fake wood was literally the only thing I didn't like about the interior of the Palisade. I watched their install video and it seems like a piece of cake (I'm a carpenter, so piece of cake really means: I'll only break three pieces and curse about 50 times during the install).

Can I ask what color interior you have and which trim kit you're considering?

I have the black leather am wanting the teak.

Also, I am a retired building contractor...
I used to say " I cut it twice and it's still too short" lol.

I don't see Teak on the site. I'm thinking maybe you're talking about what they call American Rosewood (basically the same thing)?

I'm getting the beige interior and I like the idea of the contrast that the Walnut Burl would give. Should have been an option from the factory to be honest. For a little over $200 and a couple of hours of my time, its a pretty easy change though. I'll wait until the car actually comes in (should be this Tuesday or Wednesday) and then place the order. I'm happy to be the guinea pig if you want... Thanks for the link, I might not have ever looked for anything like that.

Most likely the small. I see that the large kit has 42 pcs vs the 25 that come with the small. I'm not sure I see where those extra 17 pieces go though. Once I actually get my car, I'll probably get a better idea...

I agree, I love the colors. Almost nautical given the trim and steering wheel have a bluish hue to them on a bright day. We had a black interior in our 2020 Limited and it showed every little speck of dust and the seat bottoms showed creases early. Traded it for our white/white 2022 Calligraphy and love it! Many compliments on the upscale look.

I personally like it because even on the 100K plus Benz and Lincolns its satin open pour wood which to me looks fake so Ill keep my fake bamboo but then I like light colored interiors. Im also anal about real wood having owned many Jaguars and still have an XJR (with real wood veneers), the wood and leather smell never gets old to me and Im old, LOL. Like a couple others, everyone that has seen in the interior has commented how beautiful it is. I did however cover my center console in silver vinyl to match the dash trim because I absolutely hate that cheap plastic carbon fiberish look and will be redoing the door pieces also. I feel they should have done this when build but understand maybe why they didnt.

One can but body wrap material on line, like on Amazon. Either DIY or take to to a body wrap place.
