Hi, how can I know if my 2021 Palisade comes with the trailer braking controller? I have look on the window sticker and I see that the car is equipped with Trailering package which includes ( pre-wiring, transmission cooler, sway control) but I cannot find if it has the trailer braking controller. Can i have some light on this?

Welcome. Moving this post into the Palisade forum...

If it's a 2021, it has it, but it's not mentioned anywhere indeed. It's reportedly next to the OBD-II port, to the left of it, I believe. You should be able to see the connector taped up somewhere there. I think it might be with a white tape, but not sure. If you get your head under the dash, you should be able to find it without much trouble. I don't need it myself, so haven't looked for it, but if you can't find it, let me know, and I'd snoop around to see where it is on my 2021 :). Hope this helps.

Thank you. I looked and found a pin connector under the fuse box but not the controller.

It does not have an actual trailer brake controller. But it does have the pre-wiring to hook up a trailer brake controller. The wiring is indeed under the dash next to the OBD-II port, and it is there for you to plug in a wiring harness that will come with the after-market trailer brake controller that you buy and install. Check out the Redarc Tow Pro Elite at eTrailer.com as this is a very nice unit and it has a small one button device installed somewhere you choose on the dash, with the main unit installed under the dash, so it looks nice when installed. Good luck!

Thank you for clarifying that. I was obviously talking about the connector only, but failed to notice the OP was talking about the actual brake controller. Oops.
