I'm 5'6" and have had issues in turns clipping center median curbs because I can't see them in turns, sight line is blocked by the outside left side mirror in left turns and right turns are tricky too. Night time turns onto dark roads are also difficult as the LED Beam headlights have no side illumination at all, making for a fingers crossed blind turn. I've had a lot of vehicles in my life, and love the Palisade for everything else except this quirk. I came from 10 years driving a Tahoe and never had this problem. Is it just me??

I think newer cars with LED lights have a more focused light beam and are less diffuse, so it is harder to see off to the side at nigh even with your headlights on. Since these newer lights are more focused, they take extra care to make sure that the light does not stray off to the sides and into the oncoming traffic, but that hurts you side visibility when driving in unlit areas.
Some vehicles have as an option adaptive headlights that turn as you turn the steering wheel, including some Genesis models (the luxury brand of Hyundai).

It seems like turns are difficult during daylight as well... I imagine you raised the seat to its top position?
I had a Genesis G90 with the adaptive head lights and they were infective at best.

Yes daytime requires a scoot forward in the seat and the seat is as high as it will go. I do notice compared to my previous vehicles that the side of the door at the window is higher up. No more resting my arm on the sill when driving. I notice in other vehicles that often all you see from the side is the drivers head. Maybe its a crash safety thing but is the opposite for me.
Just to note, I’m coming from 10 years driving a Chevy Tahoe and the only issues with it were the occasional pedestrian being blocked from sight by the side mirror. Never got any of them though……

I had a GV70 with them. I couldn’t tell the difference.
