Dumb Question about Bluetooth

This may be a dumb question but I recently purchased a 23 Palisade. I connected my phone via Bluetooth but I don't want the media. Do I need to push the "Setup" button and go to Bluetooth and click on the media so media doesn't connect when it connects my phone every time? I feel like I am missing something. Please help!

Media button accesses media (thumb drive) that you may have plugged into the usb media port in the console next to the drivers right leg. This has nothing to do with Bluetooth and your phone. You use the same port if you wanted to directly connect your phone to the car with a cable so you could use apple carplay or Android Auto.
