I noticed the finish flaking on the rims. I went to the dealership and no warranty is available.
Has anyone found a solution to this?

I know this is not what you are looking for, but there are companies that do wheel refinishing, which is a lot cheaper than replacing them. One problem is that many wheels these days have a paint or other clear-coat finish on them, but owners and car washes subject them to harsh chemicals that are only suitable for un-coated alloy wheels, when in fact they should be treated just like the rest of the sheet metal on the car (mild detergents and car wax, and no stiff brushes)..

Thank you

I had the same issue on my 2020 Limited. YMMV, but I brought it to my dealership, they put a request in to Hyundai to be covered under warranty and Hyundai denied. The dealership offered to refinish the wheels at no cost to me.. I fought back with Hyundai stating that they are stating this is in fact a manufacturer defect, yet they refuse to replace the wheels. They still denied. So I went the only route that remedied the situation and had the dealership refinish them. Only time will tell to see how good of a job they did.

This left me very disappointed with Hyundai, mainly for the reason that several other members on here and another Palisade forum were successful in full replacement of their flaking wheels.
