The garage door buttons on my rear view mirror don’t light up, does anyone know if they should? My Santa Fe buttons are back lit. Thanks.

No they don't. It's an oversight from Hyundai. I wish they were lit as well.

You'll notice that the dome light buttons are also unlit. Shame at this price point.

is it me or is there a distinct lack of a compass as well.... my moms santa fe has one, my genesis had one...what gives

I do know that on our Limited, there is a compass with elevation and GPS coordinates on the large center display. Just touch the left-facing arrow on the right side of the screen, it changes from full screen to a split-screen. Then on the right side split, swipe up or down to see other screen views, one will be the compass. I do know what you mean though that one isn't always present in the mirror, like many other vehicles. The mirror is probably a Korean version to the Gentex mirrors on most US models.

On the limited with the full digital dash, you can also get it in the cluster in front of the driver.
