Wouldn't you know it, I take a survey from Hyundai (complementary and brutally honest). Jump in my Palisade and the navigation is not tracking the vehicle correctly. Not even close. Any ideas of what could have happened one day to the next? The green highlighted line is the route I should be taking. The red X is where I am. The dotted line is the direction to my destination. It's not plotting a route and doesn't have me located.

Could be poor satellite reception where you were parked, could be tall buildings near by, could be satellites undergoing maintenance, could be local military operations, could be solar activity, could be radio interference

Dang, thought it was something easy like a recall. Hope you get it figured out.

There's all sorts of things that can cause gps go be by a block or two temporarily. Doesnt mean there's even anything wrong, just something effecting the signal temporarily.

I’ve never had a car lose SAT/NAV. I’ve lost WAZE through Apple CarPlay, but never lost SAT/NAV. Also, honestly thought there was a NAV TSB. I did say recall and meant TSB.

I've had it happen before in different vehicles. Usually in times when Ive been parked next to a tell building or when the military is doing something nearby. Isn't common, but it happens.

Lived in the largest concentration of our nations forces for 13 years. Saw F-14 and F-18 afterburners through my sunroof on many a night. Oceana, HQ SACT, Langley, Eustis, Monroe, Yorktown + Seal TEAM 6.......I’ve seen some crazy stuff and met some amazing vets.......never lost NAV though.

I guess I should have clarified the circumstances. My wife and I went for a drive, just to get out of the house... Probably drove 30 miles around town. Wasn't parked, no tall buildings. I noticed it wasn't tracking about five miles into the drive when speed limit signs weren't displayed in the HUD, dash or map. I was driving on I-75 and the map displayed me a substantial distance from the highway. Continued to keep an eye on it the rest of the trip. It never tracked me correctly. The picture I took was about 2 miles from home when I stopped at a light. We didn't go out yesterday. We'll see what it's doing when we go grocery shopping today. Would like to avoid my dealer if at all possible...

I have had that happen once on another car. Never happened again. I've had that happen on my iPhone too, for that matter.

If it's back to normal, I wouldn't worry about it anymore. Obviously if it continues to be off, that's more indicative of an issue with your unit rather than a gps disruption.

Well, steelers was correct. Nav works just like it's supposed to today. That's weird what happened on Tuesday... Thanks everyone for your help!

I blame it on the 5G, better start burning the cell towers like the people in England did.
