Airbag indicator light stays on for long long time

Hello friends

I have been driving hyundai palisade luxury model (Canada), since 4 months now. Just couple of months back I observed that when I start my car, the air bag indicator light comes on (on instrument cluster) and stays for very long duration- 15 mins, 10 mins, 5 mins, 7 mins and maximum 20 mins!
very rarely it goes off within few seconds.
Also, the front passenger airbag indicator on right side of the infotainment system remains lit with a cross (X) indicating that front passenger side air bag is deactivated.
I drive the car alone.
Is this normal?
anyone else experiencing these things?
For how long this air bag indicator light on instrument cluster should remain on?

This is to be expected. Most cars have sensors in the passenger seat to determine if someone is in the seat. If not passenger, the passenger air bag is deactivated.
