What is the best cleaner to use to clean love bugs and other road mess off of the front grill work below the hood? I just purchased a 2020 Palisade Limited and want to keep the front looking great. Glad to have found this forum.

I use warm water with soap and sponge...after hose off...the leftover crap I remove with Nufinish liquid wax..

Use a dedicated bug and tar remover. Follow the instructions and be gentle with the paint.

Rain X Bug and Tar Remover. Let it sit couple minutes lelctric pressure washer and if you leave it more than 4 days have ro gentle use soap microfiber until get acid of the guts out.

I use Carpro Bug Out. I live in Florida so love bug season is miserable

The key is to first wax those areas on your new car with two coats of a synthetic polymer wax that you can buy in any auto or discount store for less than $20 (which does not contain any Carnaubu). If you are trying to clean a previously waxed surface, it is much easier to get the bugs off, and you don't want to use something so harsh that it removes the wax.

If you are trying to clean a previously waxed surface. after using wash specifically designed for cars (and that will not remove the wax), I would try Meguiar's Cleaner Wax or NuFinish, before resorting to harsher chemicals. Anything that says "cleaner wax" should work OK.
