Looking from the outside down at the area that projects the HUD, I can see it looks like there is dust and spots on it. However, the display looks fine when I'm driving. Should I try to clean it? If so, with what? I'm thinking, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

I always use a microfiber towel like the ones for eye glasses. You can buy the larger sized ones on eBay. Just a quick dust out and should be fine.

does anyone know if you can adjust the HUD? I would like to tilt it to the left a bit when I am wearing my glasses it is extremely faded. Polarized glasses

If I remember correctly, there is a height adjustment. I don't remember what else there is (haven't touched that since day 1). I'm not sure there is a tilt adjustment. Polarized glasses can cause issues with HUDs.

I don’t have HUD in mine, but my last couple vehicles did. They both had a limited range of up/down and left/right movement. The manual should indicate all that.

You might give these a try, I bought them at Menards, and I can see the HUD fine. Yes, they are cheap but seem fine for day driving.

Not interested, thanks though

Yes you can adjust the brightness, tilt and height, and also what gets displayed

polarized glasses do make it harder to see regardless of position or brightness though

If I move my head like a 1/4" to the side it works just fine. Basically I don't' want the light to be directly facing my glasses

I wear polarized sunglasses and can’t find a perfect position where the HUD isn’t a little washed out. I can still see it though

The purpose of a polarized lens is to reduce reflected light, which is how an HUD works (reflected off the windshield). So you are fighting an uphill battle.
