This seems to be the only way to get that annoying notification to go away, insisting you "introduce yourself"

Bought a 2020 Telluride SXP, love the car but selling it. Plan is to buy a 2021 or 2022 depending on availability.

In the meantime while we search and wait, figured I might poke around here and see if the Palisade has any new found appeal to us. Look forward to reading through some posts and insights from everyone

I had ordered an Telluride back in August. By February, I got so frustrated waiting I cancelled the order. After initially dismissing the Palisade, I came back to revisit it. The more I looked at it and studied it the more I came to appreciate it. Now after owning it for three weeks my wife and I love it and are really glad that we purchased it over the Telluride.

With that said, last night I viewed this YouTube of a 2021 Telluride Nightfall edition in Gravity Grey. KIA nailed it!

The nightfall looks good for most of the parts except the wheels. I can't get over the wheels, the square design is huge turn off for me. I've seen them in person, the black trim pieces are excellent and look very sharp. But man the wheels just kill it for me.

If you bought a Telluride and love it why would you sell it to buy what is nearly the same thing?

There were a few updates made for 2021 we prefer and there will likely be more for 2022. I only bring up 2022 because of the backlog of orders, covid, high demad at the moment, etc... we could possibly get pushed out 8+ months and end up with a 2022 which wouldn't be the worst thing to me as I'm betting a few key features they're missing will come in model year 2022.

And due to the Telluride market, we've sold it for almost every dollar we paid for it. In short it will cost us virtually nothing to sell and buy again. In a typical market this would cost us probably $10,000 as we would lose heavily on re-selling within a year, since that's not the case it's well worth the time spent shopping again to me to gain a few upgrades.

Welcome aboard! And thank you for signing up. What will you be replacing the Telluride with?

Our current Telluride is an SXP, so just an updated version of that. But I've been less than impressed with the dealers around here so we could wind up with something else potentially to avoid the disastrous service in town.
ie; Palisade, Aviator, or similar.
