The calligraphy night edition I test drove I was able to disable the adaptive cruise and set regular cruise. I've taken possession of my night edition, and when I press and hold the distance button when the cruise is on, but not set (maybe I need to do this before I start moving?), all that changes is the color of the distance indicators (1-4 car lengths) from white to blue. I cant seem to get the regular cruise. This is what Im doing, maybe its a procedural issue.
1. Get on the highway to desired speed
2. press cruise button, and adaptive cruise turns on and sets the speed ( I don't get a cruise on, then have to set a speed, it all happens with 1 push of the button)
3. tap brakes to disengage cruise speed, but cruise system is still active.
4. press and hold the distance select button (bottom right on right hand side of the wheel).
5. this changes the color of the distance indicators from white to blue, but cant get regular cruise like I did on the test drive.
Is there another setting I need to change first? Does anyone know what the white vs blue means?
