Good Afternoon Community,

New owner here, less than a week into ownership. Next Thursday getting the dealer to finish the tint on the front windows. Black on Black is extremely hot. Anyway, adding mud flaps... ehhh not sure about those yet and some other items like cargo nets etc....

Thinking on adding the full bumper clear bra for around $600, with the front end being so rounded and flat, I am thinking it is gonna be a rock magnet. We did get the front mask on all the other painted surfaces, just not the one on the bumper. Does anyone have any experience or thoughts surrounding doing a bumper clear bra? For the record, I am fairly meticulous about my cars, but at some point -- say after 5 years of ownership it is a losing battle. This is only my 3rd new car purchase and the other 2 are in the driveway as well, albeit with some hail damage, scratches etc... I tend to keep these things as long as I can, then the car will actually pay you back after you own it for free for 15 years.

I am planning on doing a ceramic wax as early as this weekend.

im sure 3ms product is just fine, but personally, I have a lot of experience with xpel, either way it is worth the money

I generally do the full front end (bumper, hood, fenders) just to eliminate the edge that will occur in a partial front end app (bumper, 1/3 hood, 1/3 fenders). last one I got done was my moms 19 santa fe, $1700 for ultimate plus. again, worth the money imo. somethign else worth knowing about xpel, though i would imagine 3m is similar, is that it can be polished and even compound if it scratched bad enough that it doesn't self heal

I had my Z06 done for $1,600 (whole front end, 18" up hood, mirrors, A-pillar). Was quoted $1,000 for the Palisade for same. Definitely going to do it.
