When a company produces as many vehicles as Hyundai does, there are bound to be a few components with problems,
from time to time. Several people have reported the switches have been replaced.
But if you have 10 or even 100 people with a problem that's not many when they have sold over 100,000 Palisades

I've heard of 3rd row motor issues before I even bought mine almost 3 months ago, so I tested both sides before signing papers, and both worked fine. But haven't put them up again, and probably won't ever again under my ownership . So not uncommon; that's for sure. Hey, may I ask you if you were constantly using your motors? And did you notice any issues after new, like motors starting to struggle, or something? I also wonder how good is their system to stop them, if they sense resistance. That could be an issue if they don't reverse themselves easily if you accidentally hit the button with stuff on top of the seats, or there is something on the seats when folding them down. Good luck.
