My wife and I take a lot of long trips and never know quite what to do with any trash we generate. I just happened to have an unused trash container in the house that fits perfectly between the captain chairs in the 2nd row. The container measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) outside diameter which is just exactly a snug fit so that it will not easily tip over. It leaves no impression on the seats after being in the car for over a week. We never have riders other than ourselves but I sat in the 2nd row to see if it would be an irritant and, being an intolerant person, I was surprisingly not bothered by it. Possibly because it was my idea.
