access USB connection at the center console

my 23 Palisade has a loose connection at the USB port and is sporadically recognizing the USB drive. I probably just need to 'tighten' the cable behind the USB. I really hope it is just to tighten / re-plug it. I was able to remove the center console panel, and a black top cover. I am stuck at removing the retractable cup holder cover. Any guidance on it is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

It’s a 23. Couldn’t you just get it serviced? Should be warrantied no? I’d just not want to open it up myself at this point. Just me tho.

yes, it is under warranty. the dealer kept it and says wrong USB, changed, not working. wrong cable, changed, not working. Now they want to change the head board which is in backlog orders. not sure when they will arrive. till then stuck with the loaner venue.
