That's crazy. My local dealer in El Paso is not marking them up anymore. But I'm a bit baffled by used prices. Just quoted mine (immaculate 2021 with 8,047 miles) at Carvana, and got $43K, when a month ago it was almost $49K (wtf?). Just checked Vroom, and $45,381, which is still much lower than I expected, compared to what they're asking on their sites. They used to only ask 4 to 5 grand more, but guess they're getting greedy now, just like dealers. Anyway, will sell privately if I decide to sell (for something smaller, probably a GV70), to hopefully get back what I have on it (including hitch, mud guards, ceramic tint, and many other extras), which is $52K.

Bob Stallings in Dallas is still the place to go. Ask for Michael! We put a deposit down with another dealer back in Sept 2021 and still haven’t heard anything definitive about arrival date. I reached out to Michael at Stallings and reserved another there Dec 27. We just drove the car home today! A two month turnaround in this market is great, not to mention, they only charge MSRP!

I went to Clay Cooley and also met Michael. Clay Cooley bought Bob Stallings recently. They are no longer reserving cars at MSRP. They are asking for $3995 protection package. They are not selling without this package.

We called Clay Cooley recently and they told us 5k to 8k over MSRP including their so called protrction package.
