Drove both a 2021 Palisade Caligraphy and 2021 Nightfall Telluride today. So similar but so many subtle differences. We like the Palisade interior better but need to black out the chrome before my wife is willing to choose over Telluride.

One thing that bugged me is the Palisade CarPlay screen only filled about 2/3. On the Telluride it filled the entire widescreen. Is there an option on the Palisade to have Carplay fill the whole screen?

There's a setting for full screen carplay. Sounds like it just got turned off in the car you were driving.

There isn't currently full screen Android Auto, however.

ok thanks - it was a brand new Palisade they let us drive so figured it must of been a setting somewhere. Man are we torn betweek the two!

They're two sides of the same coin... although Kia dealers tend to be a lot less willing to deal on the tellurides than Hyundai dealers on Palisades, so one usually gets less for the dollar with the telluride.

Agree on that - Telluride deal said 2-3 month wait for a Nightfall - can't stock them fast enough. No wheel and deal on it.

Pallisade - dealer is chasing me all day and already dropping price without me asking. I'm searching for someone who can do the chrome delete as the real thing we don't like about Pallisade is the exterior chrome and grill. My wife actually prefers the interior of Pallisade and so do I (like the middle console layout better, full screen gauges, higher quality leather).

For reference, if you go to Setup > Device connections > CarPlay, and uncheck split screen, CarPlay will use the entire screen.

I thought the telluride looked cheap because it had no chrome while the palisade looks like a luxury car

I don't mean cheap cheap, it's personal preference, the telluride is nice and I'd buy one over a honda pilot and a highlander, you are getting a lot for your money. But I think the telluride looks like a Ford while the palisade looks like a European luxury
