Badge Replacement Discussion

In response to rebadging, if you’re a “car person,” you already know exactly what the vehicle is anyway, and most likely the trim as well, no matter what the badge says. If you are an owner who simply likes the look of a re-badge, more as a decoration or car jewelry, that’s one thing. But if the intent is to fool someone into thinking that the car is something that it’s not, that will only work with some people, and the more common the car is, the less people will be fooled. Just my (unsolicited) two cents :)

The hell’s your problem? It’s a forum. People post opinions. I don’t give a crap whether you agree.

Rebadging is most certainly tied to a perceived stigma about Hyundai’s name for a lot of people. Maybe not for you but for many, it is.

It’s a fact that this forum’s admin resells these parts. It’s not an accusation - merely a fact. It’s obvious that it would have an impact on how much this is being talked about on here.

If you want a forum where everyone agrees with you, open your own. Or leave. Meanwhile, I’ll express my opinions whether YOU like it or not. The fact that you take them as personal attacks instead of a discussion on the merits of rebadging says a lot about you.

Omfglol, keep it classy bro

Mine didn't come with a first aid kit, I just swiped the one out of the Lexus I traded in. As far as rebadging, I liked the comment that if you're making the payments, you get to do what you want. It doesn't matter what I (or anyone else) thinks.

Honestly don't care what anyone thinks about badging. De-badge, re-badge it makes no difference.
