Bluetooth for Two Phones

Does anyone have any details as to exactly how to control the settings for two simultaneously paired phones via Bluetooth? I've seen plenty of literature about this first of a kind features but am not seeing much about exactly what it is or how to use it. Here's a common excerpt.

Two Bluetooth® devices can be connected simultaneously, with one for a mobile phone connection and the other for audio streaming.

I took that to mean the two connections on a single phone, one for streaming and the other for the phone

Pair one phone for telephone functions only. Then pair a second separate bluetooth device for audio streaming only. Or you can use one phone for both telephone functions and audio streaming.
