I have a limited 2020 and an IPhone 11 Pro. The phone is not ringing on incoming calls. The dashboard changes so I can accept a call but I cannot hear it ring. Ringtone volume is on Max. I have disconnected and reconnected the phone. Do Not Disturb is off. Phone is not on silent. Is there a setting where I can select a ringer type? Appreciate any assistance.

Default on mine and it plays my ringtone when I get an incoming call. Does the same thing happen when you are using CarPlay?

Have not experimented with ringing and Car Play. However, I had to rent a vehicle yesterday, paired it with my phone, and the rental does not ring either! That points to the phone. Apple has not been of any help. Still trying to resolve the problem.

Double check that the "bluetooth volume" is not turned down or the ringer volume on the phone. you probably already know how to do this but I thought I'd post just in case - https://www.howtogeek.com/328610/ho...ystem-volume-with-the-iphones-volume-buttons/
Problem now solved! In the vehicle's settings, there is an icon for "sounds" one of them is ringtone. Mine was set at 3/4 but when I moved to to almost full, the phone range through the vehicle. I thought that 3/4 volume would have been sufficient, but it was not.
