I think mine has it too, i will check next time I take it out. Which will probably be tomorrowSo nothing to be concerned about?
Thanks so much, Zenar! I focus on things too much when they're new. I really appreciate it!I think mine has it too, i will check next time I take it out. Which will probably be tomorrow
Hey there, whenever you get the chance to see if your car has this, I'd love to know. Thanks!I think mine has it too, i will check next time I take it out. Which will probably be tomorrow
Thanks! I just found out weather stripping isn't covered under the warranty (brand new car though) so I think I'll take it to service and find out what it is and why it's there.Don't see a clip on mine
Can you take another zoomed out and show where on the a-pillar that is?Not that I'm OCD or anything (haha) but does anyone know what this clip is there for? I'll admit when I read about the wind noise, I looked at my mirror and the window, and that's how I noticed this clip.
Thanks!
So glad you're not having an issue! I'm not either, but I just got my car and other than a 3 hour trip total where my husband drove, I've only driven maybe 30 miles myself. No wind noise so far! I love the car! Gene, are you thinking the clip shouldn't be there? My palisade does not have those clips and we do not have any wind noise.
When we ordered our Palisade, it arrived at the port in CA and remained there for 2 months
was told it was for TSB's and up dates to be applied. I didn't like it that they held it that long
But now happy they did as everything has worked great so far.
My salesman's brother works at the CA port and told him they did air bag bolt and several
software updates and door adjustments. Never figured out what that was., but he says they did
test drives on the Palisade before delivery.
I asked if they did test drives how come they were only a couple of miles on Palisade. His
brother said when the vehicle comes to the port it is still in a predelivery mode. After they do the
driving tests the palisade is reset to delivery mode and any miles put on car for testing doesn't
show as mileage is then set to 0 from that point. Any miles showing is from driving out of testing
then out of lot to truck, other driving by or at dealership delivery.
How is your Palisade for wind noise?
Could be the clip is now for holding weather strip in correct place to assemble
Any way hope you are enjoying your Palisade

Not at all, Hyundai like all other car manufacturers buy products ( weather strips to ) from different sources. One supplier may have a clip and another not.So glad you're not having an issue! Thank you! My little grand has darling dimples too!Not at all, Hyundai like all other car manufacturers buy products ( weather strips to ) from different sources. One supplier may have a clip and another not.
They may be getting the strips from a different company since the covid-19 shut down in china.
If you have no wind noise don't worry about it at all. Next time they purchase the strips, may have dimples.
I just love the cute dimples on our Grandchildren.
Thanks! It's only on my driver's side, but I'm guessing nothing to be concerned about. I love the car!Mine has them
