Some of you probably did know but others maybe not. If you press the button that eliminates the auto Start/Stop to turn off the stop engine feature and the first time you come to a stop you press the Auto Hold button every time you come to a stop the Auto Hold will engage and the engine will keep running. Just an FYI

Thanks. Didn’t know that. After a year I’m still learning things about that Palisade!

wtf. thats how it works no?
Auto Start Stop Off and Auto Hold On, will hold the car on stop with engine running

I mean, that is why the button are there for.
Here is the deal…. If you don’t first turn off the Auto Start/Stop but you want to use the Auto Hold you have to press it every time you stop. You are not understanding the post at all. Read it again.

It took sometime to process what you have written. This is how it works.

Auto Start/Stop On (LED Off) and Auto Hold turned On > It will hold your vehicle on Stop and Engine Stops
Auto Start/Stop Off (LED On) and Auto Hold turned On > It will hold your vehicle on Stop and Engine Doesnt stop

In all cases, Auto Hold holds the vehicle on stop and it turns green

This is exactly why the buttons are there for.

Apparently The Expendble guy doesn’t get the point at all. Just try out what I told you and you will see what I mean folks.

I never turn off Auto Start Stop, i never touch this button. And i only press Auto Hold once. And it engages Auto hold all the time.
