Did you know?

You are attacking/asking me instead of calling US corporation and ask them why. I just pass on the info. To have a physical buttom you just have to change it no big deal like lower trim models in Asia that do not have the function. No big deal. They deleted so they do not have to explain you and me why they just not offer the function. I bet you that 2021 will have it plus the minor cosmetic changes like fornt lower and back lip are different for 2021. but thinking twice I will find a way to have mine working I will bypass the electric cables and Voila I

Attacking is a rather strong word/definition.However you will see,or simply research past complaints on this forum, that there are some that will defend Hyundai ,regardless how legit a complaint may be. Just let it slide ,as in a way it is amusing.

that there are some that will defend Hyundai
Is pointing out that there's hardware that was intentionally replaced really "defending Hyundai"? Or is it just acknowledging that this isn't just a software bug but an intentional decision?

I think it might be the wantitto bug, They show up a lot after we purchase it doesn't come from Korea or the manufacture.
In my case it is the wouldlikeitto bug. LOL
Had folding mirrors on some previous cars and I don't really miss them

He had to get his little dig in...

Yeah it's clearly intentional.

Just ask for the part number for the Palisades from Asia and US same part number. And yes is a bug in the coding. No need of physical buttons my friend. When you lock the car they fold like BMW etc... When you unlock car mirrors open and puddle lights turn on. In the Settings for Asia you can enable both functions in the settings. Just look at any video for the Palisade for Asia and see yourself the mirrors working. Why is so hard to believe this is real?
I already explained that Korean models have always had some features that the US models don't have, even if the wiring for it is included in the US models. You have no idea what your are talking about.

Interesting little back and forth going on here. It’s all good :)
Funny thing though is that we pay $50k for a car and don’t get folding mirrors here in the US, but virtually all cars in Asia have power folding mirrors in some form or fashion. It’s kind of rare to find one that doesn’t. Has to do with the tight parking arrangements in most Asian countries. Anyway, that and front and rear parking proximity sensors are almost always standard over there.
