I ”made” a mat for the bottom of the compartment that is located under the floor between the third row seat and the tailgate. Page 3-193 of the Owner’s Manual refers to this space by the somewhat ambitious name of “luggage tray” but it’s that 1’ x 4’ x 7” deep cubby where the jack compartment and jack tools live. I wanted to increase the friction on the hard plastic bottom of this space to reduce the possibility of small objects or packages sliding around. My solution is fairly inexpensive albeit not elegant. I bought some rubber runner at Home Depot, made a paper template and then cut the runner to fit. The runner is sold at HD in the area where they sell carpeting on rolls. The runner is 26” wide, about 1/16” thick and is sold by the foot. I needed bit more than 47” and the HD employee was happy to sell me 50” just to play it safe. At $3.47/foot, it cost me just under $14. I have included some photos including one that shows the HD product number. NOTE: There is just a faint rubber smell but I have to put my nose within an inch or two of the mat to detect it. I can’t imagine it ever being noticeable when it’s in place.

Looks just like it should have from the factory. Nice job.
