I say leave them as an OPTION for people who want them - that's all...So harsh ride, noisy, expensive, AND they have limited availability so less choices.
Run Flat tires are a big no-no on mainstream vehicles.
The run flats may be costly and may not ride as well, but they sure have been a lifesaver for me. As a female who travels alone sometimes, I had a flat between Alabama and Tennessee. I also would have had a major blowout on a busy street because I hit a very sharp object in the street. With my runflats, I kept moving until I got to a safe place. That's the only reason I am considering NOT buying the Pallasaide.I'm glad it doesn't have runflats. Those are not only very costly to replace but they also ride very harshly.
