Does your Hyundai Palisade vibrate excessively at higher speeds?

Do you experience vibration at highway speed and what year do you have?

Trying to get an idea of how many people are experiencing problems with vibration at highway speeds.

You should have specified that ONLY AWD owners need to vote, or your results won't be accurate. My 2021 doesn't have any vibration, but it's FWD. Not too late to fix it, before FWD owners vote :).

Thank you so much for your tip. You've actually been VERY helpful, as I didn't realize the vibration was specifically an AWD issue. I was thinking of going with AWD, but really don't need to. I'd be fine with FWD and if it helps avoid this issue, you've saved me a lot of headache!

I can't seem to edit the poll at this point, but maybe people can add a note as to whether they have the AWD or FWD.

And not only that, but you'd also save 2 MPGs, about 165 lbs, AND about $1,500 bucks. Ha ha. I was on your same boat. I was reluctantly going to get AWD because it was the only option with Calligraphy, but fortunately found out Hyundai started shipping FWD Calligraphy models, so I waited an extra month. And it was well worth it, to avoid the possible vibration headache so many folks have, when I don't really need AWD at all. Glad to be of help :).

Its probably the terrible tires it came with.... Replaced my day 2 with Michelin Cross Climate.... the ride improved greatly and road noise went away......

My AWD Calligraphy was built in January 2021. I have about 3k miles now and do mostly moderate state & interstate highway driving, avg 55-70mph. Just did a 200 mile interstate trip this week. Purrs along just fine, no vibrations, no smells with my black interior.

There are lots of hills and twisty roads in my area and the AWD is very helpful. It is not just four wheel drive, but the system uses a variable torque vectoring to electronically distribute the wheel forces where needed based on sensor inputs. You can monitor this in action on the dash display, and I like watching it in action when I am pulling out in traffic, climbing a hill, going through turns, etc. It provides the vehicle with sure foot planting at all times.

Seems from your poll that it is not an issue for most. Sounds more like you may have a tire balance issue which the dealer can fix.

Had the vibration at 12k miles. At different dealers for weeks. New driveshaft, coupler, wheel bearing, tires, etc. Could not fix. Vibration ruined the experience. Sold car.

2021 Limited AWD.

My ’22 Calligraphy vibrates mid 60’s-mid 70’s. One dealer said Hyundai engineers already know about the defect. So Hyundai sold me a car with known defect.

Isn't that nice..did you get that in writing!
THIEVES..and we thought politicians were the worst

Wow, that's really terrible. Certainly makes me think twice about getting this vehicle. Is yours the AWD?

That's really not right... apparently the 2020's and 2021's had this problem. I would have expected the 2022's to be ok. 😔

Debbie you might want to look at something like an Acura MDX. Costs more but they have much better discounts to make up for it.
I crossed it of my list because they didn't have HUD when we looked at it, ( They do now for 2022 ) I don't like the touch pad, But no touch screen.
Buick also has some large discounts in my area.
With the features of the Palisade, doing a good test drive before purchasing and the difference in pricing I'll stay with the Palisade
The other brands are having problems just with different things than what the Palisades are seeing

One of my major considerations is that I need 2 large dog crates to fit in the back and most SUV's are too narrow, unless I go up to Expedition or Tahoe size, and I don't want to go that big.
