I've looked in the manual and still can't figure out how to set the interior (dome) light to come on when the door is opened. Older cars have a switch that you can slide to 3 positions: on, on when door opens, and off. Does the Palisade have this function?

But this dome light switch does not turn on the lamp behind the third row. It only comes on with the rear hatch opening or from the switch on this lamp in the rear.

Yes.... when u open rear set it at the rear dome

I'm having the same issue, I've tried diffrent combos of pressing the #2 button and they still don't come on automatically.

You need to make sure the one that looks like an open door is pressed in. You press it and leave it. Then your dome lights will come on whenever the door is open.

mine is 2009 santa fe and i have to press dome and door buttons

Someone modified the wiring under the dash to make it come on when the doors open
