Hi all, I hv a 2023 limited AWD. Two days ago I had a temporary problem with the drive mode. I listed a couple of questions below related to that issue.
1. I always leave the drive mode on SMART. Never change that. After playing with modes in the first week of purchasing, the mode has been in Smart ever since for about 4 months. 3 days ago when I started the car, even though it was on SMART, the cluster dashboard did NOT show the selected mode, which it always does. The car also ran very differently. I restarted the car and the problem went away. Smart mode name now displays on cluster dash and the car also handles just like it always did. Did anyone experience any similar issue with drive mode not engaging properly randomnly?
2. After the above weird issue, all selected mode names show on the cluster dash except for 'Comfort' mode. When I switch the mode, the temporary pop up with mode selection animation displays fine but when Comfort is selected, the mode name does not display on the dash. The car seems to be running in comfort mode though (as it is different from smart - tad bit more lazy). Are any other 2023 Palisade owners seeing comfort mode name displayed on dash when it is selected ? I checked some vids online and previous models show Comfort mode name on dash when selected.
