Traded in a Silver 2003 Silverado LS for a 7-passenger AWD Palisade SEL in Lagoon Silver. Took delivery of it on July 8th. So far it has been a learning experience as 2020 technology is slightly more advanced than the stuff Chevy was using in 2003. I got the Convenience Package and the Sunroof options. I didn't custom order it. I did the build your own Palisade thing and the local dealer had on with most everything I put on my build. The only thing lacking is the trailer hitch but we negotiated that into the deal and they owe it to me. I do wish there was more interior lighting either on the bottom of the front row doors or under the dash that came on with the dome lights. I have the Grey/Black cloth interior with black carpets and at night in dark areas, (and with old eyes), it's very dark getting in the car. I may have to see if I can find a place to mount and LED fixture under the dash and wire to the dome wiring. Thinking the 18 wheels might have been a better choice for towing a boat. But at least it's only about 2500 lbs. so we'll see.

My Palisade.webp

Curt has a better hitch. 750lbs tongue weight vs the 500 stock. Also it's hidden where the stock one is ugly as fuck especially after a couple years of rust. If you didn't get it yet get them to order teh curt it's probably cheaper for them anyways

Nice. Enjoy it! You can always replace your interior lights with LEDs. It should brighten it up some. Mine looks like yours but has the premium package that added all LED lighting in and out.

I would, but it I paid for the hitch in the financing. I don't think they'll rewrite the financing paperwork to remove the hitch price.

My mistake. I read that as me go buy the Curt. Tomorrow I will ask them if they can get the Curt instead of the Hyundai version.

They said they will not install a non-Hyundai part on my car. As the price of the hitch is in the financed price, there is no refund, nor would they consider rewriting the loan to remove the hitch from the price. Nope, they won't buy it back from me either. They best they offered was to not install it and just give it to me in the box and I could sell it privately. I'll just let them install it and be done with it. Tongue weight difference is inconsequential in my case as all I'll tow is a snowmobile trailer with a riding mower on it, and my 19' Bass Tracker bass boat.
