Hey guys!
So I have a small dilemma. I am getting the front end painted to as part of full vehicle chrome delete. Also the Lights have already been smoked as seen in the picture.
I cant seem to decide between having the trim pieces be Black or body color. The grill will be blacked out. I have seen the trim pieces (all the silver parts) being black but not seen any Graphite colored palisades where these trim pieces painted to match body color.

Any suggestions?

And yes I know some are not going to approve the Brenthon Badge- but I like the look better (especially once blacked-out) so it stays.

personally.. I would color match the grille and black the lower trim pieces. but that's me.. big black grille looks odd to me. draws your eye away from the vehicle and right to the grille as badly as the silver grille does.

I'm in process of wrapping the wifes trim to matte black. Just finished the grill and surround. Grill is gloss/flat colored and the trim is wrapped matte black. (still a work in progress for the lower...)Grill2.webp

how long have you had the grill surround wrapped for?

any issues with chips/ wrap stress or fatigue since that is a high stress area? (imo - from bugs/ road debris etc)

Well its only been 4 days so I cannot comment on durability yet. I do know that the parking sensors do not like the wrap on there though. Car beeps when approaching things way too soon now. I need to cut out those sections for the sensors. This is my first wrap job on a vehicle so I'm sure there will be mistakes. I'll be sure to post pictures when completed.

Looking to black-out your Palisade? Black emblems are available right in our very own forum store. With fast shipping and the lowest prices online, you can't go wrong.
Finally got my car back after all the changes..

I decided to paint the trim instead of wrapping.
Also did body colored to keep the flow going
