I am a new Limited owner. Hoping you can help with these questions:
1. Are the contents that I selected for the HUD always visible? For example, should the radio station display the whole time I am driving or just when I select the radio station?
2. The LAK system was very reliable for a couple of weeks not now appears to work on and off. It turns from white to green multiple times on the same road and it flashes green often. Is this to be expected?
3. I am driving in the city. The speed limit sign is not displayed in HUD in all areas of the city. Is this to be expected?
4. Every time I turn the cruise control on and try to set the speed it displays a message saying that the conditions for the SCC are not met. But if I select the Set button again it works just fine. Am I doing something wrong?
Thank you all so much. I have enjoyed reading the posts!

1. Only when switching stations
2. Hard to tell: are you experiencing bad weather conditions? Are the lane markings fading?
3. It relies on the data in the navigation database for speed limits. If it doesn't have a speed limit for the street you're on, it won't show.
4. You say you press "Set" twice? That's probably the issue. You have to turn cruise control on first (Cruise button), then use the Set button. Not sure why it works when you press it again.

Thank you so much for the quick reply! For number 2, weather conditions are good and lane markings are not fading. For number 4, I press cruise, I press Set, I get the error. I press Set again after the error, it sets the speed just fine.

There are roads which don't have the speeds listed in the memory.
How fast are you going when you try to set speed?
It has a speed limit before it will set, if you are going 10 it will not set
by the time you get to 20 it will set.

Also on #2 direct sunlight can affect the camera not allowing LKA to work properly. This happens on my drive home. Also happened in my F150

I saw the SCC conditions not met message before but I can't remember why. I think I was doing something else like braking or having my turn signal on... something like that. Try when nothing else is happening and see if that helps.

Thank you all! I have resolved the SCC error. I was using the RES instead of the SET.

So my only remaining issue is number 2. This is what I find strange - As a test I drove through exactly the same road twice (drove, u turn, drove through road again). First time the LAK was green, the second time it was white. It just doesn’t appear to be consistent even on the same road. I may be expecting too much...

Hyundai Lane Keep Assist helps you stay within your lane should you get distracted and start to swerve. This intelligent system uses a high-tech sensor in the windshield to scan the road ahead, constantly monitoring the lane markers both left and right of the vehicle. When activated, a visual and audible Lane Departure Warning will sound anytime the vehicle veers out of its lane. Additionally, the vehicle may apply slight pressure on the steering wheel, correcting your path before it strays further. The system deactivates when the turn signals are activated, to ensure no unnecessary alerts or warnings. The Hyundai Lane Keep Assist system was designed to keep drivers safer when behind the wheel, especially at freeway speeds.

So if the sensor cannot see the markings on the side of the road the indicator will turn white on whatever side it does not see the markings.

thank you rcsimon! Yes I understand how it works. My question is why on exactly the same area on a given road it will be white one time and green the next time within 5 minutes of each test.

Is your windshield dirty or obstructed in some way? The camera at the top of the windshield, behind the rear view mirror, is used for LKA/LFA.

Thank you Eric. I will check!

also the LKA is speed dependent. It won't activate (turn green) if you're driving less than 40mph.

And LKA does lose it's way too. It doesn't hold the lane as reliably as LFA, and by that I mean it does lose the lane more often than when using LFA on a freeway.

Oh yeah forgot about the speed. Good catch, @raggedy1. If it's off, it won't activate until 40 mph. If it's already on, it'll stay active all the way down to 35 mph before turning itself off (assuming it can see the lane markings of course).

The speed constraint explains A LOT. I will test with that in mind. Thank you both and have a blessed evening!

Hey guys thank you again for your help! The car is performing as per specs based on the speed requirement. Appreciate the help!

I have the 2021 palisade ultimate with up-to-date software and i cannot find how to make the speedometer on the HUD change color when over speed limit.
I am not sure if palisades have this feature. Santa fe with same year and trim have it.
Do you have this feature on your pali?

Thanks in advance
