Heating seat temperature?

I bought SEL a couple of days ago.
First day driving around I have noticed the heated seat doesn’t get as warm as the other cars even with max heating set.
Level 2 heat set gets lukewarm that is barely noticable, level 1, nothing.
My 14 years old accord gets warmer than that.
Ford Fusion’s heated seats get ridiculously hot with max(level 3) setting, I had to turn it down to level 2 to get the heat level I wanted.
This could be very personal opinion but is this normal for Palisade?
Any opinions?
 
I have the limited version. For me, the maximum setting is very warm, almost hot. I have to set it on the minim setting after setting to maximum. Do you have the cloth or leather seats?
 
I have the limited and decided to answer this with qualitative data versus - "feels fine to me". Although they do feel fine to me. I did a "face off" between my 2019 Z06 heated nappa leather seats and my 2020 Palisade heated nappa leather seats.

1) Both cars in a garage so no direct sunlight.
2) Both cars idle today so no advantage/disadvantage of having run A/C.
3) Ambient air temp was 86*.
4) Started each vehicle and let run for 5 minutes with A/C off and seat heaters on full.
5) Then sat in each for 1 minute to get the heat to transfer to the set bottom.
6) Then immediately exited the vehicle and shot with infrared temp gun.

Results:

Z06 98.4*
Palisade 100.0*

Both felt plenty hot to me.

Did you find out what was going on? We just bought a 2020 and they don't heat up at all, and they won't even help us.
 
We just bought a 2020 Palisade SEL. Both front seat heaters do not heat. Measured maximum 95F on both. Hyundai has come back saying that is normal. Why sell a car with seat heaters if they don't work properly?
 
The seats in my Limited heat and cool perfectly..best system in that regard that I have ever owned..Audi..Vette..Toyota..
 
How can you say the heaters don’t work and then go on to say the seats measure 95 degrees? Is the ambient temp inside the cabin 95?

“They” being your dealership? Try another dealer.

The owners manual says that if the temperature of the seat (or interior, not sure) is already high, the heater will not come on. Maybe you need to wait until the weather is cooler to test them out.
 
try using the cooling option first to test it?
 
Our Palisade came with fabric seating and their heat worked very well, fast and more than needed at max setting. Upgraded to leather seats and now the heat is barely noticeable, obviously Cows have good insulation !
 
I just bought a 2021 SEL and they don’t get hot at all. Gonna call dealership tmro. Any tips?
 
my calligraphy burns my ass on high and medium, I have to keep it on low after 2-3 minutes. my G80 was the same.
 
I have a 2020 hyundai palisade limited and the heated seats barely get warm as well..

Did you ever find out more about this? I have a limited and the seats barely get warm. I made a appointment to have it checked out however its not for a month.. i


The ventilated seat works great..
