Currently in negotiation for a Palisade Calligraphy. Love the vehicle, for me the only drawback that I had was in this trim level Apple CarPlay is a split screen it's 2/3 of the screen versus the trim level below it goes to full screen. A minor inconvenience that I'm sure I'll get over.

There's a setting to disable the split-screen mode:

Eric, it seems like that might not be the case on the Calligraphy, the dealership is stumped. They told me this is “an upgrade” though I would rather not have the split screen. If you have any insight that would be greatly appreciated.
 
Thanks for the picture, I'm heading into the dealership this afternoon-I'll share it with them.

Eric, You're a lifesaver. I headed out to the dealership today to cement the deal but somewhat saddened that I wasn't able to get the full screen version of CarPlay. They rolled out their best IT sales guy who said he worked on it for most of yesterday but it's just not possible. I showed him your picture and said let's go give it a try and voila we had CarPlay in full screen mode and I for sure was a happy camper, so thank you very much from the bottom of my heart-and I pick up my new Calligraphy tomorrow afternoon. On another note it has the beige leather and the smell to go with it so hopefully it'll dissipate over time, I guess I'll just have to roll the window down for a bit. Again thank you so much for taking the time to help out.

I had to laugh at your "best IT sales guy" and "worked on it for most of yesterday" comments. Some IT guy who doesn't think to check the available settings...
