Hi all! Just purchased a 2020 palisade limited CPO. I’ve noticed a noise that I believe is toward the back of the car, that I can only describe as being a hollow/thumping sound when I’m going over slightly bumpier roads. I don’t hear it at all on smooth surfaces.
Any idea what this could be? I was thinking it was possibly just the door/compartment in the trunk rattling around a bit— I don’t have much in the storage area. But it also sounds like it may be coming from underneath the car (and I slightly feel it in the gas pedal).
Happy to let the dealership help me solve this, but figured I’d save myself the trip if this is an obvious (or common) sound. Everything else I’ve brought to them they’ve told me is normal— so I suspect I’ll hear the same about this.
