What's your dealership experience with hyundai? If i buy the palisade it'll be my first hyundai so i'd like to know what to expect. I have to admit the showroom experience isn't that great. I'm hoping the service experience will be better.

My experience was good, no issues , they were fairly organized, and I felt welcome, Illinois Dealer

My dealership in Stuart, FL was awesome, got a great deal on an SEL. I'll post about the service department after my first oil change.

Do Hyundai dealerships provide a free loaner vehicle when yours is getting serviced?

So far parts and service have been responsive here in Longmont, Colorado, however, we have only been buying a car and supplies for the new car, so hard to screw that up. They are certainly pushing their service on us as being strongly recommended, however, I am a maintenance guy and like to know my cars, so I will likely be dong a lot of maintenance myself. Not a fan of young kids that don't care as much as I do on a $50k car.

Our first Hyundai was back in 2010 when we purchased a new Santa Fe. Took it to the dealership for I t’s first oil change. The employee driving it into the service bay collided with the employee who was exiting the service bay with another customers car. The dealership took responsibility and paid for the damages. What irked me, they were going to charge us for the oil change!
In my opinion, good service departments are hit and miss. I find independent shops much more customer oriented in the fact that a bad experience from a customer can ruin their reputation.
